Stallions for our 2014 foals

In 2014, we expect only 1 foal as we currently just have 1 active broodmare at the stud.
The upcoming dam will be our lovely EPIK xx (GER). As we trying to renew the important blood of rideability with our noble mares we have chosen to inseminate EPIK xx (GER) to the Neustadt Dosse stallion Quandolino (Quando-Quando x Lancer III x Landgraf I) - Quandolino itself is premium stallion and was qualified for the German "Bundes Championate" as 5 years old and same year he also was "LANDES CHAMPION" in his area, and therefore he already have proven his rideability, which is very important for the breeding program here at the stud.  Quandolino is a young and not yet well known stallion therefore neither is particularly tested in breeding, but it does not make him less interesting, as his sire is the grandsire of the now already extremely well-known Celle stallion Quaterback which of course already has proved his worth in his breeding career . In addition, Quandolino goes back to Holsteiner blood on his dam´s side which may be preferable since it can strengthen the front knees activity and a stronger back.

EPIK xx (GER) are confirmed in foal, and estimated date of birth are june the 26.
